Company news: Sidney Germinio promoted by Syracuse Salvation Army

The Salvation Army Syracuse Area Services announced the appointment of Sidney Germinio to executive director of community services. She will be responsible for the overall management of human service programs in Onondaga County, including the design, development, and implementation of strategic and programmatic plans across 33 diverse programs.
She has spent the past 17 years at The Salvation Army. In her recent role of director of family services, she was an integral part of planning and implementing pilot programs and research projects developed to target gang violence, child abuse/neglect prevention, and increased use of kinship foster care.
